I was born and raised in Lapel Indiana where I graduated from Lapel High School. I am a graduate of Vincennes University with an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I was a police officer for 15 years with the Indiana State Police and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, I am currently the Administrative Assistant at Berne Police Department.
I am married to Dan Mawhorr and we have 2 children. Will and Malina attend South Adams where they are active in various sports and activities. I think it is important to be active in the community that I live.
I am a member of the Monroe Lions Club, on the Board of Directors for the Adams Wells Crisis Center and the Adams County Cancer Coalition. I also like to be involved with our children’s school activities.
